Confirmation Group Calendar 2009-2010

All Wednesday classes meet 6:30pm – 8:00pm in the St. Joseph Room

* Field trips and retreats are required for Confirmation students

Wednesday, Feb 24th REQUIRED PRACTICE 7pm Social Hall & Church

Saturday, February 24th Confirmation Mass 5pm. All Confirmation students must be in the Social Hall by 3:30pm

A Baptismal Certificate is required before registration can be completed

To be in the Confirmation class a student must have completed two years of Religious Education prior to the class either in a Catholic School, Youth Group or Home Schooled. Since there are only 8 regular classes -any absence is considered reason for concern. You must contact the Director of Religious Education immediately if you have any absences.

The STUDENTS share the obligation of all Roman Catholics to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days. The Religious Education program strives to promote participation in Mass by the whole family. Parents must accept the responsibility as a sacred duty. Parents must further understand that students who are not regular participants at Sunday Mass may not be admitted to Sacramental preparation classes.
