Infant Pre-Baptism Catechesis 2010

Baptism Classes for 2010 are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in the Trinity Room. Parents and Godparents/Sponsors are required to attend. Parents must be registered, active members in good standing with the Church before Baptismal arrangements can be considered. Godparents/Sponsors must “live a life of faith which befits the role to be undertaken.” This person must sincerely believe and strive to put into practice the Word of God as taught by the Catholic Church, regularly take part in the Mass and, if married, be married in accordance with the requirements of the Catholic Church. Next class – Mar 13.

Hunger Walk Run to Benefit SVdP Society – March 14

Thousands will join together to combat hunger at Hunger/Walk Run 2010. This year’s event is scheduled for Sunday, March 14, rain or shine at Turner Field, Atlanta. The family-friendly day has entertainment and carnival games beginning at noon. St. John Vianney

St. John Vianney is a lay ministry that brings families together to pray for priest, seminarians and religious. Each week, a family receives the Icon of St. John Vianney and places it in a special place of worship in their home. The family prays for all priest, deacon, religious and seminarians for 1 week.
