St. John Vianney

Jul 25th, 2010 | By admin | Category: Ministry

St. John Vianney is a lay ministry that brings families together to pray for priest, seminarians and religious. Each week, a family receives the Icon of St. John Vianney and places it in a special place of worship in their home. The family prays for all priest, deacon, religious and seminarians for 1 week. At the end of the week, the icon is returned at the mass at which it was received. To sign up and be a part of this beautiful church tradition, contact Shirley Rodriguez at (770) 500-0148

St. Patrick’s Needs Ushers

Jun 12th, 2010 | By admin | Category: Ministry

We are seeking more Ushers for the 5:00 p.m. Vigil Mass on Saturday as well as the 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m.(Noon), and 5:00 p.m. Sunday Masses. You will be trained to become part of a team for the Mass you usually attend. The more committed Ushers we have, the fewer times you will be scheduled to help. A sign-up sheet is available in the Sacristy. Please contact Jennifer Schafer at 770-935-9722 or by email at: tansier@aol.com.

NOTE: Due to scheduling conflicts that often occur, we would prefer parishioners who are not currently involved in the Reader’s Ministry or serve as a Eucharistic Minister. We will be happy to put your name on a separate list for when there are urgent shortages that need to be filled for a Mass.
